Arizona Strip Interpretive Association

Isolated from the rest of Arizona by the deep canyons of the Colorado River, the Arizona Strip encompasses 2.8 million acres in the northwest corner of the state. This distinctive part of Arizona has a special appeal to many people. There are approximately 4,000 miles of unpaved roads leading to spectacular scenic vistas, remoteness and solitude among rough scenic canyons and ponderosa pine forests.

The Arizona Strip Interpretive Association operates the Interagency Visitor Center, providing a wide range of materials and services to assist the public. Profits from sales are turned over to BLM and the Forest Service for use on local projects.
